Percentage of People with a Disability who are African American Color coded map of the United States.  States have been grouped into four quartile ranges. The first quartile ranges from 0.2% to 2.7% and includes the states Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont & Wyoming.  The second quartile ranges from 2.8% to 7.9% and includes the states Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Washington & West Virginia.  The third quartile ranges from 8.0% to 16.7% and includes the states Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, United States & Wisconsin.  The fourth quartile ranges from 16.8% to 75.8% and includes the states Alabama, Washington DC, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina & Virginia.
