Percentage of People with a Self Care Disability Color coded map of the United States.  States have been grouped into four quartile ranges. The first quartile ranges from 1.6% to 2.1% and includes the states Alaska, Colorado, Washington DC, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Utah & Wyoming.  The second quartile ranges from 2.2% to 2.4% and includes the states Arizona, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, Washington & Wisconsin.  The third quartile ranges from 2.5% to 2.6% and includes the states California, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, United States & Vermont.  The fourth quartile ranges from 2.7% to 3.9% and includes the states Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee & West Virginia.
