Percentage of People with an Ambulatory Disability Color coded map of the United States.  States have been grouped into four quartile ranges. The first quartile ranges from 4.3% to 5.6% and includes the states Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Jersey & Utah.  The second quartile ranges from 5.7% to 6.4% and includes the states Washington DC, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, New Hampshire, New York, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin & Wyoming.  The third quartile ranges from 6.5% to 7.3% and includes the states Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, United States & Vermont.  The fourth quartile ranges from 7.4% to 11.2% and includes the states Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee & West Virginia.
