Percentage of People with a Vision Disability Color coded map of the United States.  States have been grouped into four quartile ranges. The first quartile ranges from 1.5% to 1.8% and includes the states Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Utah & Wisconsin.  The second quartile ranges from 1.9% to 2.1% and includes the states Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Dakota & Virginia.  The third quartile ranges from 2.2% to 2.5% and includes the states Arizona, Washington DC, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, United States, Vermont, Washington & Wyoming.  The fourth quartile ranges from 2.6% to 4.0% and includes the states Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee & West Virginia.
